Hi- Happy Week of the 4th of July!  We have a very eventful week coming up! Starting Wednesday, come join us to see Tom Wright & Friends perform from 8:00-10:00 for our weekly Acoustic Wednesday Series.

On THURSDAY, we have  a special bonus night when we  welcome Back The Menthol Kings, with Friday being a National Holiday to celebrate Our Great Country’s Independence! They are a really fun group to Boogie to  playing Surf, Swing, Soul and Rock n’ Roll with influences from The Stones, Beatles, Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra just to name a few.Check out their new website!

On Friday we are very excited to bring back the truly amazing and ‘Undaunted Professor Harp’    You all know him from our regular weekend gigs and the Sunday bloodies and blues brunches. He born and raised in Boston, Mass., BUT  the emanations from his harmonica and vocals make it clear that Professor Harp has the blues of Texas and the whole wide Delta coursing through his veins. He has  a group of very talented musicians and plays one of the seriously ‘meanest’ harmonica’s you have ever heard !

The Smokin’ Toads join us on Saturday July 4th. They really don’t need a huge introduction because they have been playing at the Ganny for well over 20 years…they play Credence Clear Water,Eagles, Doobie Bros,Journey ,Skynyrd,Stevie Ray Vaughn just to name a few
There is no question the house will be shaking!!!!!!!!

This Sunday July 5th, we continue week 3 in our new Dark & Stormy series bringing a new band to the Ganny  called the Foreverly Brothers.  Some Dylan, Stones, Chuck Berry, Van Morrison, and even some of the earliest Beatles all with a ‘blues spin’.  They have very rich harmonies, which are unlike the traditional blues sound. ‘Heartaches and Harmonies’  might be  a most appropriate way to describe them and of course you might even hear a little Everly Brothers too! Join us for the show from 4:30-7:30- would be a great way to get fired up for the Fireworks later at Mackeral Cove!

Be sure to check out our special Rum drink (featuring the famous Rum Swizzle) and Food (including Kabobs, Crab cakes. Fish Tacos, Homemade Guacamole and much more )menus for Dark & Stormy Sundays!

*******and don’t forget the Jamestown Newport Ferry,Cruise to the Blues  special offer available to our Newport blues fans includes a discounted round trip ticket on Sunday’s 4:05 ferry leaving Newport and a $4.00 discount on your first purchase at the Ganny. Check the website for more detail.
