AND accompanying Ms Washington is Bruce Bears (Duke Robillard’s keyboardist)who we have been fortunate enough to be awed by in the past. Bruce currently plays keyboards with two time Grammy Award nominee Duke Robillard and the Duke Robillard Band, and can be heard on Duke’s Grammy nominated albums Guitar Groov-a-rama and Stomp! The Blues Tonight as well as many of Duke’s other albums. He has been touring internationally for 20 years, and formed the original Toni Lynn Washington Band in 1998.
WOW WHAT AN AMAZING STROKE OF LUCK FOR ALL OF US!
See you Thursday!
Friday September 7th
9:30-1:00
The Mistics is really a bunch of old friends who just happen to be fabulously seasoned musicians, and who have been significant players in the Southern New England music scene for a good long time. They include : Gary ‘Guitar’ Gramolini, Mike Warner, Dean Cassell, Steve Burke (both current members of JC & the Beaver Brown Band).
A 5 piece group who will be all over many old favorites and lots of new ones too.
They perform songs from the good book of jumping Rock & Roll, R&B, Classic Blues, Soul & Rock, and a little country. Featuring a band of pedigreed seasoned professionals, including members of the Beaver Brown Band, Roomful of Blues,&,’Til Tuesday. Believe me when I say anything can happen with these guys start playing, and usually does.
This should be an extraordinary night fun night with MAJOR talent on hand- Come check them out!
See you Friday for too much fun!
