Thursday September 16th

THE SHINY LAPEL TRIO
8:00-11:00
We saw this band perform recently in Essex, Ct and knew you all would LOVE them! They were here earlier in the summer and we heard comments like: ‘the best band I have ever heard here…When can they come back?…Where did you find these guys?… soooooo here they are- We know you will have an awesome, romantic, fun night– WITH great dancing!
This is a foot stomping, swinging, ridiculous good time of a night- so PLEASE join us this Thursday Night for everything from dancing to sing-a longs! Check out their website at www.shinylapeltrio.com!
The Shiny Lapel Trio is a tiny little band with a great big sound! Keeping it simple with just three (now 4!) rockin’ instruments, and a big ol’ slice of velvety smooth vocals, these guys tear up a dance floor like a carpenter late for lunch. Whether they’re rippin’ thru a classic Louis Prima standard, or makin’ ya cry with a Nat King Cole ballad, the instruments grind along full throttle while the vocals float across the top as thick as a layer of gritty bar room smoke. Oh, they schwing baby and it ain’t for the faint at heart!
If you need another boring top 40 cover band, there are plenty to be found, but if you want a band that’ll make your feet hurt from dancing and your voice hoarse from singing along, then you need to see what the Shiny Lapels are all about: Pure, sweaty, sinful swingin’ fun!
SLT’s “Beautiful Things” used in a new Kohl’s commercial running in Fall 2008! It’s De- Lovely! Bona Sera! Theme from the Godfather;Steppin’ out with my Baby! They also have 3 CD’s out-check out the music at their website: www.shinylapeltrio.com Theme from the Godfather, Besame Mucho, Steppin’ out with my Baby;Fly Me to the Moon, If I only had a Brain—- waaay too much fun! See you Thursday 8:00!
So Please come join us for Thursday Night Fun !
Come on down to the Ganny and enjoy cold concoctions along with GREAT music! Sure to be a great night!

She is back this Saturday to rock the house! Just click on her website www.loisgreco.com , listen to her voice and her great band and I know you will come on in for a great show!
Using the influences of Blues, R&B, Jazz & Rock, Lois Greco knocks listeners over with her powerfully soulful & sultry vocals and electrifying stage presence!” Saturday night at the Hi-Hat Lounge in Providence, Rhode Island, I got my first chance to catch Lois Greco and her fabulous band. No words can describe the vibes I was getting from the audience and her music. The range of her voice is as hard and dirty as any blues singer I have heard and yet the way she is able to sing a sweet ballad in perfect pitch is just stunning. I have no doubt when you hear Lois sing you will agree that she is the next great female singer to emerge from the New England circuit much like Bonnie Raitt, Carly Simon & Susan Tedeschi.”
