As mentioned, we are trying to bring you a little something out of the ordinary every Thursday night this summer- We saw this band perform recently in Essex, Ct and knew you all would LOVE them!

This is a foot stomping,swinging,ridiculous good time of a night- so PLEASE join us this Thursday Night for everything from dancing to sing-a longs! Check out their website at www.shinylapeltrio.com!

The Shiny Lapel Trio is a tiny little band with a great big sound! Keeping it simple with just three (now 4!) rockin’ instruments, and a big ol’ slice of velvety smooth vocals, these guys tear up a dance floor like a carpenter late for lunch. Whether they’re rippin’ thru a classic Louis Prima standard, or makin’ ya cry with a Nat King Cole ballad, the instruments grind along full throttle while the vocals float across the top as thick as a layer of gritty bar room smoke. Oh, they schwing baby and it ain’t for the faint at heart!

If you need another boring top 40 cover band, there are plenty to be found, but if you want a band that’ll make your feet hurt from dancing and your voice hoarse from singing along, then you need to see what the Shiny Lapels are all about: Pure, sweaty, sinful swingin’ fun!

WINNER of Best Blues/R&B Motif Magazine Music Awards 2008, STEVE SMITH & the NAKEDS have celebrated thirty-five esteemed years of performing throughout New England and beyond.  During that time, the rhythm & blues powerhouse has thrived with their distinct infectious blend of rhythm, brass, and fun..with 5 horns,4 vocalists,2 guitarists, keyboards and percussion.A GIANT 10 piece band that really gets the place jumping!

We are fortunate enough to have the band for not ONE but TWO nights to ‘kick off’ the summer madness!

When you least expect it you might have Steve next to you on the dance floor- OR maybe even up on  the bar! Boogie on down for a great Saturday Night!

Soo, Come on down to the Narragansett Cafe for a ridiculous night (or 2!)of getting down!

We are fortunate to have Triple Threat Blues Crusade back to the Ganny this Sunday for our Swizzle Sunday Blues fun! Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Buddy Guy,Santana,BB King with a little of their original stuff is sure to be a fantastic show!  Come on in for a few Rum Swizzles, Kabobs and other great BBQ items this and every Sunday this summer!
