LIVE Blues Every Sunday 4:00-7:00 until Super Bowl Sunday
Feb5th,2012- we will go to BLUES, BLOODIES & BRUNCH series-with a new time of 1:00-4:00-sooo you all can come enjoy great bloodies, mimosas,wood burning stove,fantastic food AND of course LIVE BLUES and dancing!
Starting after Memorial day Blues will go back to the 4:00-7:00 time slot- for ‘Swizzle Sundays’-beginning Sunday June 2nd through the summer!
It may surprise some, but Rhode Island has a great history of the Blues, probably starting in 1967 with Duke Robillard and his band Roomful of Blues. More than 50 musicians have played with the group, and many of them are still playing around the state, often finding their way into the Gansett.
Every type of Blues will be on offer as well as basic R&B & some Swing!.. We look forward to seeing everybody.
